I have the same issue with exactly the same pads and, unfortunately, the same problem with Ferodo’s. Im looking at Stoptech pads now.

I have Bluestuff on my Camaro. They are a loud, dusty, track pad with great bite. I bought them to stop the car, not to keep the wheels pretty.

It’s not going well with the light color of PlastiDip I’m running. I only have them on the fronts, so after one weekend my wheels are much different shades.

Hey now, I bought mine to stop the car as well. Was just surprised by my layer of dust after 3 days of use.

lol, you should see my wheels when I pull them off after one day of use... Between the brake dust and OPR, they don’t even look silver.

.....at least I can claim my wheels got trashed running Lime Rock lol

They managed to only coat half of the front wheels too. Forever unmatched.

You can have pretty wheels or stopping power. It really isn’t a big deal. I give mine just a once over with a microfiber when I rotate my tires between days, and then wash them after the weekend is over. Sonax is amazing and makes quirk work of the dust and buildup.

Get gunmetal colored wheels. Problem solved.

You’re welcome :)

More seriously, take a look at Project Mu pads... I use B-SPecs on mine and love them. I do drive a 2100lbs car though. It may help, I don’t know. I’ve never tried them on any other car.

Not a problem or an issue. It’s what track pads do. They aren’t going to last as long either.

I was running them on my miata, I switch to a normal pad and I miss the redstuff, I didn’t care about the the brake dust.. I think they are fantastic pads, but only if you commonly driving hard/ occasional trackday. so anyways, my car is black so the red hue that would appear on the car looked pretty cool i didn’t mind it.
